Zenji Cafe is situated underneath Zenji Hotel.
Inside the Café you can sit at a table in air conditioned comfort and observe the local craftswomen making beautiful jewellery out of colourful handmade paper beads. Why not purchase a packet of beads to make your own unique design? A novel gift idea for friends back home and easy and light to carry too!
We also have an outside terrace where you can while away the hours whilst you sit and watch the hustle and bustle of Stone Town life passing by. Donkeys pulling carts laden with all manner of goods, people going about their daily business, passengers hurrying to and from the ferry port and the activities at the local coffee stand opposite the Café - you can sit and observe it all while relaxing in the laid back atmosphere.
